uefa champions league celebration dinner 2024 pitch
Design approach & execution
As lead designer, I developed a cohesive visual system built around structured grid systems, kinetic typography, and graphic elements inspired by stadium geometry and the form of the Champions League trophy. The system was conceived to scale seamlessly across large-format installations, stage visuals, environmental branding, and digital outputs — ensuring clarity, consistency, and impact throughout the experience.
Outcome
Although the proposal was not selected, the project remains a strong example of concept-led design translated into a coherent, scalable visual system. The work demonstrates an ability to interpret complex cultural briefs, align strategy with execution, and deliver design thinking suitable for global, high-profile events.
the challenge
The UEFA Champions League Final is one of the most recognisable and emotionally charged moments in global sport. The challenge was to develop a celebratory visual identity that could honour the competition’s heritage while delivering a contemporary, high-impact experience capable of living across live environments, broadcast moments, and digital platforms.
insight
The Final represents the culmination of a season-long journey — defined by anticipation, intensity, and legacy. The celebration needed to feel ceremonial and iconic, yet dynamic and forward-looking, reflecting both tradition and modern spectacle.
creative direction
The proposed direction framed the celebration as a narrative moment — using architectural composition, light, and motion to create a sense of progression and climax. The visual language was designed to feel authoritative and premium, while remaining flexible enough to adapt across multiple formats and scales.
